5 months agoMinnesota Twins outfield prospect Walker Jenkins had two hits and drove in four runs for Single-A Fort Myers on Wednesday. The No. 1 overall prospect in the Twins' system is hitting just .233 in June for Fort Myers with one homer and 19 RBI. The productive game on Wednesday is a good sign for Jenkins, who is a premium outfield prospect. The 19-year-old has a powerful left-handed swing and is swift on the basepaths. Jenkins' progress this season was stalled by an early-season hamstring injury. He has had most of this month at Fort Myers to get back in the groove a bit.
