Walker Buehler Suffers First Loss
Walker Buehler suffered his first loss of the season on Thursday versus the Chicago Cubs. Buehler suffered his first loss in 23 starts. The right-hander would be hurt by a solo home run by Javier Baez and a big two-run home run by Willson Contreras. Buehler would end up getting a quality start and allowed five hits, three runs, two walks and struck out six on the evening. Buehler has now gone at least six innings in every start this season and is now 7-1 with a 2.51 ERA. Buehler will look to get back in the win column versus the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday.
