7 years agoLos Dodgers starter and top pitching prospect Walker Buehler will start the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Giants. Buehler will be the 26th man on the roster, which is allowed for doubleheaders. No corresponding roster move will be needed. Buehler impressed in his first outing against the Marlins, pitching five innings of shutout baseball with only four hits against him, all singles. Buehler is expected to be sent back down after Saturday's game. He is worth stashing if you have space on your bench, though he will likely be capped at 150 innings this season.
