Wade LeBlanc Hoping To Return In Late May
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Wade LeBlanc (oblique) played catch at around 90 feet for a fourth straight day last Saturday and is hoping to return by the end of May. The 34-year-old left-hander had a 4.50 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 12 strikeouts in 16 innings in his three starts before his injury. He can have decent outings here and there, but he doesn't have much upside with a career 6.5 K/9 and is merely a deep league streamer in the right matchups when he's healthy.
