Wade LeBlanc Does OK In His First Cardinals Start
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals pitcher Wade LeBlanc was decent in his first start for the Cardinals on Monday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. LeBlanc had previously made a start for the Orioles this season, but had spent most of his time in the bullpen. With the Cardinals desperate for pitching, LeBlanc took a turn in the rotation and provided 4 1/3 innings, allowing one run on four hits and a walk while striking out two. He'd actually made it through four scoreless innings before allowing a solo home run in the fifth. With the lack of other options in the Cardinals rotation, LeBlanc is likely to get another turn in five days. He's not a recommended fantasy option, however.
