Vikings Not Speculating On Adam Thielen's Return
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer won't speculate on when wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) will return. "Whenever the doctor says he's ready to play, he's ready," Zimmer said. Thielen was active in Week 9 against the Chiefs but was targeted just once before aggravating his hamstring injury and sitting out the rest of the game. As a result, he'll be questionable for Sunday night in Week 10 against the Cowboys, and he'll be an extremely risky fantasy commodity for that one after burning his owners in Week 9. Stefon Diggs, Olabisi Johnson and Laquon Treadwell worked in three-receiver sets with Thielen sidelined. Diggs was shut down against KC but will have WR1 upside if Thielen misses anymore time. Johnson is the better waiver target over Treadwell, but it's hard to trust either receiver for consistent production if Thielen misses anymore time.
