Victor Scott II Batting Just Above The Mendoza Line In Triple-A
6 months agoThe St. Louis Cardinals organization's third-ranked prospect, Victor Scott II, began the season in the major leagues after tying the lead in the minors for stolen bases last year with 94. However, he struggled at the plate, batting just .085 in 20 games. As a result, he was sent back down to Triple-A, hoping to rediscover his batting form, but that has yet to happen, as his slash line is 215/.309/.323 in his 35 games since being demoted. While this speedster is a threat on the basepaths, he's had trouble getting on base this year to cause that chaos. Despite his recent struggles, Scott still has plenty of fantasy upside and is an excellent buy-low candidate in dynasty leagues.
