Victor Robles Injured Friday
6 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Victor Robles (wrist) left the game early in the fourth inning on Friday after he was hit on the left forearm/wrist by a pitch from Cole Hamels. However, X-rays came back negative and he was diagnosed with a left wrist contusion. Consider him day-to-day for now, but there's still a good chance Robles might get the rest of the weekend off, depending on how he's feeling. In other injury news for the Nats, reliever Justin Miller (shoulder) will go on the injured list with a right rotator cuff strain after leaving in the seventh inning. The 21-year-old Robles is hitting .253/.304/.462 in 44 games with eight home runs and eight stolen bases, both team highs.
