Victor Robles Activated From Minor League Disabled List
7 years agoWashington Nationals outfield prospect Victor Robles was activated from the minor league disabled list and is back in action at Triple-A. Robles had been sidelined for three months with an elbow injury. Robles has had his name called in trade rumors involving Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto, however, it's unclear if the Nats have made him available. If he remains in Washington there's a chance he reaches the majors in September, despite the Nationals outfield depth. Robles is hitting .298 with five RBI and seven stolen bases in 2018.

Victor Robles' X-Rays Come Back Clean
3 days agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles' (hand) X-rays were deemed negative. Though he is not in the lineup on Sunday, he's hitting in the cages, per Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com. Robles left Saturday's outing against the Chicago White Sox after getting plunked in the hand with a pitch and looked to be seriously hurting. Fortunately, it appears he can be considered day-to-day. The 27-year-old was a different player last season upon his arrival to Seattle, hitting an eye-popping .328 with 30 steals after the move. Robles is currently hovering around the top 200 picks off the board (~OF30) and projects to give fantasy managers the most considerable boost in the average and steals categories.

Victor Robles Exits Early On Saturday
4 days agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (hand) was forced to exit early during Saturday's spring training contest. Robles appeared to be in significant pain after taking a pitch off his hand. He immediately exited the contest and is likely to undergo additional testing. Afterwards, Mariners manager Dan Wilson said he believes Robles has avoided a serious injury. Possibly, Robles misses a day or two, but will hopefully be ready in time for Opening Day. UPDATE: Robles was set to undergo an X-ray on his hand, but the team sounded optimistic that he will be fine.

Victor Robles Takes A Seat
6 months agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles is out of the starting lineup ahead of Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics. The Mariners don't have anything to play for anymore after being eliminated from the postseason contention That being said, Seattle has little incentive to play their star players. Mitch Haniger will take over in right field and bat sixth against left-hander JP Sears. Haniger has been bad at the plate this season, but even worse against left-handed pitching, so he can be avoided in all fantasy formats on Friday.

Victor Robles Scratched From Thursday's Lineup
6 months agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (hand) has been scratched from the starting lineup on Thursday against the New York Yankees at T-Mobile Park. Robles suffered a bruised right hand in Tuesday's contest and didn't play on Wednesday as a result. It appears the 27-year-old needs at least one more day to heal up before returning to the field. In his absence, Dylan Moore will draw into the lineup at second base and will hit eighth against Yankees right-hander Clarke Schmidt. Jorge Polanco is serving as the designated hitter and is batting sixth for the M's. Moore has a homer and two RBI in two career at-bats against Schmidt, while Polanco has gone hitless in his only at-bat against Schmidt. Robles should be fine to play this weekend on the road in Texas against the division-rival Rangers. He's been excellent since joining Seattle, hitting .333 (66-for-198) with four homers, 20 RBI and 25 steals in 69 games.
