Victor Olofsson Scores 10th Goal Of The Year
4 years agoBuffalo Sabres winger Victor Olofsson reached 10 goals for the season with a late game-tying marker in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Rangers. He made it 2-2 16:19 into the third period with Sam Reinhart and Kyle Okposo picking up the assists. Casey Mittelstadt also scored for the Sabres, who won for only the eighth time this season. Olofsson has struggled to stay productive while playing on a bad team, but he impressed at the start of the campaign and has a chance to become a valuable fantasy piece again if Buffalo improves its form. The early signs are there, as they are on a four-game point streak and have won two of the last three games. Olofsson heads into next week on 22 points. He's done most of his damage on the power play with 12 points, so the next two games against the Devils, who have the league's second-worst penalty kill, look promising for the Swedish winger.
