Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman was responsible for 10 of the team's 38 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to Columbus. However, he went pointless and finished with a team-worst minus-two rating. Mathieu Joseph scored the team's only goal. Hedman had an injury scare in the second period and exited the game, but returned to a log a game-high 24:03. Tampa was without Ryan McDonagh (lower body) and Erik Cernak (lower body) and lost Jan Rutta (lower body) in the contest, so Hedman was heavily relied upon. The 2018 Norris Trophy winner leads the scorer's charts among defensemen with 33 points, and he has recorded 92 shots, 52 blocks and 36 hits in 35 games.--Taavi Pailk
