Vernon Davis A Touchdown-Dependent Option
5 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis will continue to see regular playing time as long as Jordan Reed is out, but he hasn't been very involved in the offense to this point. Davis is averaging just five targets and three receptions per game, with over 40% of his 118 total yards having come on one play. There's at least some chance he sees an uptick in volume if Terry McLaurin doesn't play, and the Giants have routinely been lit up through the air. If you're lacking in safer options, it's worth noting New York is one of eight teams to have given up multiple touchdowns to tight ends, and the Giants are allowing 11.8 yards per catch to the position.
