Tyrone Tracy Jr. Will See Significant Playing Time In Week 7
Devin Singletary (groin) returning from a two-game absence in Week 7 against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles, rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. will still see significant playing time on Sunday. "He's earned it," head coach Brian Daboll said. "He's done a good job. So he'll get plenty of playing time." Daboll said that Tracy, Singletary and Eric Gray will all play, but the Giants plan to keep a close eye on Singletary to see how he's doing after coming off his groin ailment. It means the G-Men will likely ease Singletary back into action, making him a shaky RB3/flex option in his return against the Eagles. In the two games that Singletary missed, Tracy was much more electric and explosive than Singletary, carrying the ball 35 times for 179 yards and a score while catching seven passes for 58 yards. He's the better upside flex play this weekend than Singletary.
