Tyrese Maxey Enjoys 31-Point Night Against Bucks
3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard Tyrese Maxey had a great night against the Bucks on Tuesday, scoring a team-high 31 points in a 118-109 loss. He started off red-hot and had 17 points in the first quarter with 7-for-9 shooting that included three made triples. Maxey finished with 12-for-24 shooting and went 4-for-9 from behind the arc with five rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and zero turnovers in 39 minutes. The 21-year-old is benefitting from the Ben Simmons drama and has some pretty nice numbers to his name early in the campaign with 15.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists. As a point guard, Maxey faces a difficult matchup next against Toronto, but he could kill it again on Saturday against the Pacers, who are giving up the eighth-most points per 48 minutes to point guards this season.
