Tyrese Maxey Efficient In Victory Over The Pistons
3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey poured in an efficient 20 points during a 109-98 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Thursday. The 21-year-old shot 8-for-12 from the field, 2-for-4 from three point range, and 2-for-2 from the free-throw line. Maxey also chipped in with four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. The University of Kentucky product has taken advantage of Ben Simmons' absence from the lineup by shooting over 50% from the field and averaging 15 points per game. Maxey should continue to produce until Simmons is ready to return, and will likely have a significant role as a sixth man once Simmons rejoins the lineup.
