Tylor Megill Transferred To 60-Day Injured List
2 years agoNew York Mets right-hander Tylor Megill (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on Monday. Megill was placed on the 10-day IL in mid-June after coming down with discomfort in his pitching shoulder, prompting the team to shut him down from throwing for four weeks. The move means that Megill won't be back until mid-August at the very earliest after he was shut down due to the shoulder. Megill has appeared in just nine games for the Mets in 2022, posting a 4-2 record, 5.01 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 47 strikeouts over 41 1/3 innings of work in 2022.
