Tyler Skaggs Throws Bullpen Wednesday
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Tyler Skaggs, who has been dealing with left forearm fatigue, threw a bullpen session on Wednesday and is likely to make his next spring start in a minor league game. Skaggs' fatigue came from working on a new pitch in his last start, so it's not believed to be very serious. The left-hander could start on Opening Day if Andrew Heaney (elbow) isn't ready. Skaggs has intriguing upside but hasn't been able to stay healthy. You could do much worse with a late-round pitching flier in deep mixed leagues, however.
