Tyler Reddick Should Be Fast, But Chevies Are Favored
1 year agoTyler Reddick enters tomorrow's Las Vegas race as a likely contender for the win, considering he won the last flat intermediate race at Kansas, and flat intermediates have historically been one of his biggest strengths. In addition to his Kansas win, he also earned top fives in his first two Homestead starts, dominated the spring race at Fontana, and earned two of his five poles on these tracks. Reddick's Achilles' heel for this race may be that he ranks 6th in speed on intermediates behind the three Joe Gibbs Racing veterans, Kyle Larson, and William Byron, and 23XI Racing is significantly faster at Kansas Speedway than the other intermediates.. Hendrick Motorsports had the top three fastest speeds in the March race while Reddick only ranked 10th. Don't be surprised if Reddick contends for the win, but the Hendrick cars should be favored.
