Tyler Reddick Has Some DFS Upside at Pocono
4 years agoTyler Reddick definitely has some potential as NASCAR heads to Pocono this weekend. The Richard Childress Racing driver has some top-tens in non-road courses and an 18th in Nashville last week. It was that +8 place differential that caught some eyes. Reddick begins Saturday in 16th and a much better position. He does not register in some of the top-performing drivers but probably should. In the long run, Reddick is nestled in the top ten as far as speed and durability. That could prove beneficial at Pocono especially if there is a long run or two.

Tyler Reddick An Easy DFS Pick This Weekend
5 days agoTyler Reddick has amazing upside in DFS this weekend, as the 23XI Racing driver qualified back in 20th for Sunday afternoon's Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Reddick is the defending race winner at Homestead and is one of the elite "rim rider" drivers in the series--which is the fastest way to get around this race track. In practice on Saturday afternoon, Reddick posted the ninth-fastest overall lap and ranked sixth-best when it came to 30-lap average. Despite his high price on DraftKings ($10,700), Reddick is still a premiere DFS option on Sunday, as his Place Differential upside is worth the price alone--not even taking into account his race-winning upside and potential dominator status. In five career starts at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Reddick has finished fourth or better four times, with the only exception being the 2022 race, in which he wrecked out of.

Tyler Reddick's Solid Performance Is Derailed By Late Pit-Road Issues At Las Vegas
2 weeks agoTyler Reddick of 23XI Racing finished 24th in Sunday's Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In the first stage, Reddick began the race from the 14th position and eventually made it as high as second before fading to 11th by the end of the stage. In the second stage, Reddick looked competitive as he ran most of the stage in the top five, even as others were using differing strategies. The No. 45 Toyota driver would get passed by a couple of drivers by the end of the second stage, as he ended it in ninth and barely scored stage points. In the final stage, Reddick made it to the lead for the first time in the race on lap 201. Reddick led a total of 34 laps for the race until he lost the lead to Daniel Suarez, and then when he went to pit road under green, the No. 45 team had trouble changing the left rear tire. Reddick would be unable to recover from this issue and finished 24th as a result.

Tyler Reddick Is One Of The Top DFS Options For Las Vegas
2 weeks ago23XI Racing's Tyler Reddick will start 14th for the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This is Reddick's highest starting position in a March race at Las Vegas since he joined 23XI for the 2023 Cup Series season. In 10 races at Vegas in his Cup career, Reddick has five top-10 finishes, including a best finish of second in last year's March race at the site. With four races completed so far this season, Reddick has four top-20 finishes, including two inside the top five. In practice, Reddick was fifth in overall lap averages, best of the Toyota drivers, and displayed top-5 speeds in all other categories. Based on his practice speeds and recent Vegas history, Reddick will be one of the best DFS picks of the week, especially with solid upside coming from his starting position.

Power-Steering Failure Foils Tyler Reddick's Bid For Potential Victory
3 weeks agoTyler Reddick never led at Phoenix on Sunday but he had strong speed as he moved into the top five on the 10th lap and remained there for most of the race, spending long portions of it running second to either William Byron or eventual winner Christopher Bell. However, in the third stage, his power steering began to go out and only functioned intermittently. Amazingly, he managed to continue to hold onto a top-three position until he sped in the pits under caution. However, by the time he restarted, his power steering was completely lost and he was well off the pace. The cautions came fast and frequent enough at the tail end of the race that Reddick still managed to salvage a lead-lap finish in 20th.
