1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill (back) has resumed baseball activities and is hoping to start a rehab assignment at some point next week. The 28-year-old hasn't appeared in a game since May 4 after suffering a lower back strain and landing on the injured list. O'Neill was struggling before the ailment, slashing .228/.283/.337 with two homers, 12 runs, six RBI, and one steal over 29 games. There's still no timetable for his return, so fantasy managers will need to stay patient and continue to stash the power-speed threat in most formats. Hopefully, O'Neill can return closer to the player who went deep 34 times and stole 15 bags in 2021.--Spencer Seguin
