Tyler O'Neill Hopes To Resume Baseball Activities This Week
1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill (back) is feeling pain-free and hopes to resume baseball activities on Thursday, per beat writer John Denton. O'Neill told reporters that he's pain-free after he received two cortisone injections and an epidural nerve block at the beginning of the month. He was shut down from baseball activities for 10 days but he's feeling good now and said he hopes to continue his rehab this week. If all goes well, he should make it back to the Cardinals lineup towards the end of the month. The 27-year-old slugger has been out since May 5 while dealing with a lower back strain.
