Tyler Kroft Ruled Out For London Game
4 years agoNew York Jets tight end Tyler Kroft (back), wide receiver Jeff Smith (concussion) and safety Adrian Colbert (concussion) have been ruled out for the Week 5 game against the Atlanta Falcons in London this Sunday. None of the trio will make the trip across the pond. Kroft, who has just six catches on 10 targets for 46 yards in four games, is off the fantasy radar in the majority of fantasy leagues. In his absence, Ryan Griffin will be in line for more work against Atlanta. Griffin has just one yard less than Kroft this year on seven catches (13 targets). The matchup against the Falcons is a good one, but Griffin will be a touchdown-dependent TE2 in a more prominent role this weekend.

Tyler Kroft To Miss Week 5
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end Tyler Kroft (knee) has been ruled out ahead of the team's Week 5 matchup with the Carolina Panthers. Kroft sustained a sprained MCL in Week 2 and has not played since. George Kittle will continue to get the bulk of the tight end snaps and targets with Ross Dwelley operating in a backup role.

Tyler Kroft To Miss Another One
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end Tyler Kroft (knee) won't play on Monday night against the Rams. The 29-year-old has been plagued by an MCL sprain, an injury that held him out of the Week 3 meeting with the Broncos. With Ross Dwelley (rib) questionable, George Kittle and Charlie Woerner may be the only healthy tight ends on the roster. Of course, the former will do most of the heavy lifting in Week 4, regardless of who else is active behind him on the depth chart.

Tyler Kroft Won't Suit Up Against Broncos
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end Tyler Kroft (knee) won't play on Sunday night against the Broncos. The 29-year-old is dealing with a sprained MCL, although he has done little for fantasy managers this season, compiling only one catch for nine yards. George Kittle (groin) will finally suit up for the first time this year, so Kroft wasn't projected to contribute, anyway.

Tyler Kroft Suffers Sprained MCL
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end Tyler Kroft (knee) suffered a sprained MCL in the Week 2 win over the Seattle Seahawks and will miss a few weeks. Kroft started the first two games of the season for the Niners with starter George Kittle (groin) inactive, but he produced just one catch on two targets for nine yards in the first two games. He wasn't targeted at all on Sunday. San Francisco will be hoping that Kittle can play in Week 3 on Sunday night against the Denver Broncos. If not, they'll be forced to use Ross Dwelley and Charlie Woerner at the tight end position. For what it's worth, Dwelley caught his only target against Seattle for a 38-yard touchdown.
