Tyler Huntley Effective In Leading Dolphins To Victory
3 days agoMiami Dolphins backup quarterback Tyler Huntley did the job Sunday at Cleveland, completing 22 of 26 passes for 225 yards, leading the team in rushing, and accounting for two touchdowns without a turnover in the 20-3 victory. The journeyman ran for a game-best 52 yards on just seven carries, which included a 13-yard scramble for a touchdown in the third quarter, then sealed the victory with a seven-yard strike to tight end Jonnu Smith in the fourth. Managers who took a risk by starting Huntley in Superflex formats were rewarded with the performance, which wasn't perfect, but certainly good enough to fill in for the injured Tua Tagovailoa (hip). The Dolphins have not yet revealed who will start in Week 18 against the New York Jets.
