Tyler Higbee Targeted Just Twice In Win
2 years agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee caught one of two targets for seven yards in the Rams' 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers. It was his worst statistical output all season and only his third game without ten or more targets. Higbee tends to be targeted more often against tougher opponents that shutdown the rest of the Rams offense. In the Rams' three wins, two of which have come against teams that missed the playoffs last season, Higbee is averaging 4.7 targets, 4.0 receptions, and 46.3 yards. In the Rams' three losses, all of which came at the hands of playoff teams, Higbee is averaging 11.7 targets, 7.3 receptions, and 52.7 yards. The Rams have a bye in Week 7 then face the 49ers, who beat them in Week 4, so there could be another good game for Higbee coming up.
