Tyler Glasnow's Next Start Moved To Saturday
3 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that right-hander Tyler Glasnow's next start will be pushed back to Saturday in St. Louis against the Cardinals. It means that the Dodgers will likely call up a starter from Triple-A Oklahoma City (possibly rookie left-hander Justin Wrobleski) to make the start in Friday's series opener at Busch Stadium. It doesn't appear that Glasnow is dealing with any kind of injury, but the Dodgers have decided to push him back a day to give him a little extra rest. He allowed only two earned runs in seven innings against the Pirates in his last start on Aug. 11, but Glasnow has struggled to a 5.29 ERA (3.65 FIP) with 33 strikeouts and 10 walks in 34 innings in his last six starts since June 29. The 30-year-old still has a 32.2% strikeout rate in his first year in LA and should be left in starting fantasy lineups this weekend.
