Tyler Glasnow Rocked Early Saturday
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow got off to a rough start Saturday versus the Red Sox. He allowed four runs in the first inning and only got out of the inning that lightly because of a baserunning mistake. However, he would retire the last 12 batters he faced and 17 of the final 18. Overall, he went 6 2/3 innings allowing five runs. The runs scored was less than ideal but it did represent a new career-high in terms of length of an outing for him. He is an extremely talented pitcher so he could have some value down the stretch in deep leagues or AL-only. The trade to the Rays increased his value in dynasty leagues slightly.
