Tyler Glasnow Hasn't Resumed Throwing
3 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Tyler Glasnow (elbow) has not started throwing again, according to manager Dave Roberts, and will likely need more than the minimum 15 days he was initially expected to miss when he landed on the injured list. Roberts said the Dodgers aren't concerned at this point and just want Glasnow to "listen to his body" for now. Fantasy managers now cannot count on Glasnow coming off the IL when he's eligible on Aug. 31, but it sounds like the Dodgers expected him back at some point in September. The 30-year-old is tied for the third-best strikeout rate (32.2%) in baseball this year, which makes him worth holding onto in all fantasy leagues, but he may only have a handful of starts left to make an impact, depending on when he's activated and makes his next start. In his first year in LA, Glasnow is 9-6 with a 3.49 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 168 K's in 134 innings over 22 starts.
