Tyler Glasnow Dominant On Tuesday
9 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow continued his strong spring with a big outing against the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday. One of the Dodgers newly acquired rotation pieces, the 30-year-old had his longest outing of the Cactus League with 5 1/3 innings of hitless baseball with one walk and eight strikeouts. Performance has never been the issue for Glasnow as a professional, but health has and his 120 innings in 2023 was his career-high and most thrown since 2018, a year in which he threw 111 2/3 innings. Glasnow has extreme upside with his ability to rack up strikeouts and limit walks. It also helps that he is on a Dodger team that projects to have plenty of victories in 2024. As always with Glasnow, the risk is worth the reward, but managers shouldn't stretch to get the talented right-hander with his injury history.
