Tyler Glasnow Dominant Friday Versus Cleveland
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow looked great Friday versus the Indians. He lasted seven innings in the game and shut down the division-leading Cleveland team until they finally broke through with a solo HR in the seventh inning. He would only allow two hits, one walk, and a HBP while striking out six. Glasnow set a new career-high for his longest outing and gave the fans a lot to get excited about going forward. He is an extremely talented pitcher so he could have some value down the stretch in deep leagues or AL-only. The trade to the Rays increased his value in dynasty leagues and he made them look very good on Friday for their decision to return him to being a starting pitcher.
