Tyler Allgeier Not Worth Starting This Week
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has struggled since Cordarrelle Patterson's return from a knee injury. The rookie running back averaged 13.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game in his final two starts, scoring 11 fantasy points in both contests. However, he has averaged only 7.2 fantasy points per game since Patterson's return, scoring under seven fantasy points in back-to-back weeks. Furthermore, the former BYU star had only eight rushing attempts in back-to-back games after averaging 13.6 rushing attempts over the previous five contests. Meanwhile, the Washington Commanders have held running backs to only 17.1 fantasy points per game, the sixth-fewest in the NFL this season. They have given up only one rushing touchdown to running backs over the past six weeks. Allgeier belongs on the bench in Week 12.
