2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has limited upside this week against the New Orleans Saints. The rookie running back has averaged only 6.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game since Cordarrelle Patterson returned from a knee injury. Furthermore, the former BYU star hasn't found the end zone since Week 8. More importantly, Allgeier has seen 11 or fewer rushing attempts in five straight games despite averaging six yards per rushing attempt during that span. Meanwhile, the Saints have held running backs to 19.1 fantasy points per game this season. Furthermore, they have given up only two rushing touchdowns to running backs over their past six contests. With bye weeks over, fantasy players should have a better flex option than Allgeier on their team.--Mike Fanelli
