Tyler Allgeier Leads Falcons In Rushing Attempts
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier led the team in rushing attempts in the team's 25-15 Week 10 loss to the Carolina Panthers. While he led the team in rushing attempts, the rookie running back had only eight attempts in the game for 20 rushing yards. Furthermore, his longest run in the game was six yards, the lowest on the team. Meanwhile, the former BYU had three receptions for negative 17 yards in the game, resulting in a quiet fantasy performance (1.8 half-point PPR fantasy points). Allgeier was coming off arguably his best game of the season last week against the Los Angeles Chargers, totaling 123 scrimmage yards. Hopefully, the Atlanta running game gets back on track next week against the Chicago Bears.
