Tyler Allgeier Finds The End Zone Against Bengals
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier scored one of the team's two touchdowns in the 35-17 Week 7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The rookie running back led the team with 16 rushing attempts for 50 yards and the lone score. However, he averaged only 3.1 yards per rushing attempt. Meanwhile, Caleb Huntley averaged 3.7 yards per rushing attempt on 10 fewer carries. More importantly, Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) only has to miss one more game before being eligible to come off the injured reserve list. Once he returns, expect the Falcons to feature the veteran running back. Now is the time to trade away Allgeier before Patterson returns.
