Tyler Allgeier A Potential Flex Play This Week
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has filled in as the starter with Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) on injured reserve. Unfortunately, the rookie hasn't turned into a consistent fantasy starter. In the three games without Patterson, Allgeier has averaged only 3.3 yards per rushing attempt and 6.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Furthermore, the former BYU star has scored under 5.5 half-point PPR fantasy points in two of the three games with the veteran sidelined. However, the Falcons continue to make Allgeier their lead back, as he has played 59.1% of the snaps over the past three weeks. Meanwhile, the Carolina Panthers have held running backs to only 12.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game over the past two weeks. Hopefully, Allgeier can find the end for the season game in a row on Sunday.
