2 months agoDetroit Lions linebacker Ty Summers was all over the field on Saturday with three solo tackles, six assists, and 1.5 sacks in the preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 28-year-old out of TCU also had two tackles for loss and two quarterback hits. Considering Summers did not play in the first preseason game and was very quiet in the second one, this was a huge game. Summers is currently listed as the fourth middle linebacker on the depth chart but could earn a more significant role on this team as he continues to improve.--Jacob Billingslea
