1 year agoTy Gibbs qualified 11th for Sunday's race at Pocono. Strangely enough, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver was the sixth Toyota in qualifying. That is how quick the Toyota cars were overall. Gibbs was 0.404 seconds off the qualifying time of William Byron. The No. 54 car started 10th last year and finished 16th. With a slightly faster car this time around, Gibbs just need to stay out of trouble and avoid speeding in the pits. Toyota cars have a history of pit penalties. Just ask Denny Hamlin sometime. Gibbs is a mere 41 points from the playoff bubble as well. A playoff spot is not out of the cards yet. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
