1 month agoMinnesota Vikings running back Ty Chandler became the bell-cow for the team when Aaron Jones (hip) was ruled out in the second half of Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. The 26-year-old rusher saw 14 rushing attempts for an inefficient 30 rushing yards and two catches for nine yards receiving. Chandler had been a decent change-of-pace back for Minnesota when paired with Jones but could not find space to run against the stout Jets front seven. With Jones possibly missing some time nursing his second-quarter hip injury, Chandler may be in line for an increase in workload after the Vikings' Week 6 bye.--Bruce Clark - RotoBaller
