Twins Likely To Use Six Starters To Begin The Year
3 years agoThe Minnesota Twins will likely use six starting pitchers in the team's first time through the rotation, according to the team's president, Derek Falvey. The team then plans to figure out a more permanent starting pitching strategy after that. The Twins acquired starting pitcher Chris Paddack on Thursday and he will fill out the six-man rotation for the team. Joe Ryan is getting the start in the team's season opener against the Seattle Mariners on Friday. As things currently stand he'll be followed by Sonny Gray, Bailey Ober and Dylan Bundy to close out the four-game series with the Mariners. After that, we'll see Chris Archer and Paddack in the team's two-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
