Twins Aren't Worried About Tyler Mahle's Injury
2 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Tyler Mahle (elbow) was removed from Thursday's contest against the Kansas City Royals after four innings of work due to posterior elbow soreness. However, it seems like the 28-year-old avoided a disaster, telling reporters post-game that "it's just inflammation" and there isn't much of a concern right now. Mahle is beginning a solid season for the Twins, posting a 3.16 ERA, 27.5% strikeout rate, 1.05 WHIP, and one win through five starts, so the club and fantasy managers will want to get him back as soon as possible. Consider him day-to-day for now.
