Turnover Potential For Texans D/ST Against Colts
2 months agoOpposing a young quarterback who brings the possibility of sacks and turnovers is always a bonus for fantasy defenses, and the Houston Texans will start their season by facing one. Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson played only four games last year, so the sample size is small, but his lousy throw rate was high at 21%, and he fumbled three times in just 25 carries. The Colts should be among the more run-heavy teams this season, but we have seen so little of Richardson that the Colts are a bit of a wild card offensively. As a possible fringe top-10 defense in 2024, Houston's Week 1 matchup with Indianapolis is decent, if not great, albeit with some turnover upside if the Texans can rattle the second-year QB.
