6 years agoDenver Broncos rookie tight end Troy Fumagalli is rehabbing from a sports hernia surgery that has kept him out of the practices and workouts so far. He is making progress and says he will be 100% for training camp in July. While unable to participate in the physical side, Fumagalli has attended all of the wide receiver and tight end meetings as well as studying the playbook. He will be battling with a handful of other candidates but the leading threat so far would seem to be Jake Butt who is returning after missing his rookie season due to injury. Butt likely has the edge at the moment but time will tell.--Jamie Mellor
