Triston McKenzie Solid Once Again In Win
2 years agoCleveland Guardians starting pitcher Triston McKenzie lowered his ERA below 3.00 with another solid outing Wednesday, allowing one run on three hits and a walk in six innings. He struck out six batters and took a no-decision in the 2-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. McKenzie now has a streak of four straight quality starts and has not allowed more than three earned runs since Aug. 2. He has been a major breakout player for Cleveland this year with a 2.99 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 186 strikeouts in 186 1/3 innings across 30 starts.
