Triston Casas On Track To Start Hitting Next Week
6 months agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas (ribs) is reportedly on track to start swinging a bat next week. The 24-year-old has been sidelined since April 20 with a fracture and cartilage tear in his left ribcage. It is a tricky injury to recover from, but picking up a bat is a very positive sign. Casas is not eligible to return from the 60-day injured list until June 21 and will likely need a few appearances in the minor leagues before activation. Despite the extended absence, Casas is still worth holding in the majority of fantasy formats due to his prospect pedigree and raw power potential. He also remains a high-end asset in any dynasty formats.
