Triston Casas Hits Third Homer
2 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas hit his third career home run Thursday night, a solo shot off relief pitcher Clarke Schmidt during a 5-4 extra-inning loss to the New York Yankees. Casas also walked in five plate appearances. It's been a struggle for the rookie thus far, as he has just four hits in his first 42 major-league at-bats, but with three of those going over the fence, it's easy to see why Casas was such a highly-touted prospect. He'll look to finish strong, and he figures to be a popular sleeper pick heading into 2023.
