4 months agoLast week, the Detroit Tigers traded for shortstop prospect Trey Sweeney. Since then, Sweeney has been outstanding with Triple-A Toledo. In three games, he's gone 7-for-14 with two doubles, two home runs, and six RBI. Overall, the 24-year-old infielder has played 99 games this season, slashing .263/.339/.449 with 24 doubles, three triples, 15 homers, 68 RBI, 16 stolen bases, and 44:120 BB/SO.
