Trevor Siemian Throws One Touchdown In Relief
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Trevor Siemian completed 16 of 29 passes for 159 yards and a touchdown in a 36-27 win over the Buccaneers. Siemian was forced into action when Jameis Winston (knee) left the game with an injury- and the 29-year-old did enough to earn the victory for his team. The former Bronco rarely took shots downfield but instead played the role of game manager, as evidenced by his 5.5 yards per attempt. With Winston expected to miss significant time, Siemian should at least be in the conversation to start under center in Week 9 against Atlanta- though fantasy managers can ignore the Northwestern product on the waiver wire.
