Trevor Rogers Strikes Out 10 On Sunday

Miami Marlins rookie starting pitcher Trevor Rogers was excellent on Sunday, tossing six innings while allowing just three runs on four hits and a walk. He struck out 10 and allowed three solo home runs, one of which would likely not have been a homer on a Little League field, but it was in Tropicana. Rogers has been very good and shown pinpoint control, consistently hitting the corners against a strong Rays offense. Rogers should stick in this rotation as long as he keeps pitching this well. He'll take an even 3.00 ERA into his next start.
