Trevor Rogers Pitches Well On Monday
4 years agoMiami Marlins rookie starting pitcher Trevor Rogers pitched well in his second major league start on Monday. He tossed five innings, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five. Rogers was hard to hit in his big league debut but threw a lot of balls out of the strike zone. It was good to see him throw more strikes in this one, against a solid Mets lineup. Rogers has pitched well enough to remain in the rotation, although the Marlins will be getting a few starters back from their COVID-19 list soon so Rogers' role for the rest of the season remains to be seen.
