Trevor Larnach Promoted To Double-A
5 years agoThe Minnesota Twins promoted outfield prospect Trevor Larnach, the team's No. 4 prospect, from High-A Fort Myers to Double-A Pensacola on Tuesday. The 22-year-old corner outfielder leads the Florida State League with a .316 average, .842 OPS and 26 doubles on the year. He was also ranked second with a .382 on-base percentage and his .459 slugging percentage ranked third-best. Larnach also had six home runs and four steals in 84 games for Fort Myers. He got off to a slow start in April but has slashed .343/.415/.513 in 61 games since. The Oregon State product was selected 20th overall in 2018 and has a chance to become a regular in a year or two in Minnesota if he continues to improve.
