Trent Grisham Picks Up Three Hits, Homers On Sunday
Trent Grisham had a nice day at the plate in Sunday's 6-5 loss to the division-rival Baltimore Orioles, going 3-for-3 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored. The home run was Grisham's sixth of the season in his first year in the Bronx after being acquired by the Yankees from the San Diego Padres as part of the Juan Soto deal. The 27-year-old left-handed-hitting outfielder has been playing more regularly of late with Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) on the injured list, as it has allowed center fielder Aaron Judge to take over designated hitter duties more often. Despite Grisham's strong performance to close out the first half of the season on Sunday, he's still hitting just .195/.301/.389 with a .690 OPS and will return to being a fourth outfielder for the Bombers when Stanton returns to the active roster.

Trent Grisham Activated From Paternity List
Trent Grisham was activated from the paternity list prior to their contest on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays. The outfielder was held out of action during their entire three-game set against the Cleveland Guardians at the start of the week. However, Grisham will be back in action for their weekend series in the Bronx against the Blue Jays. Grisham has enjoyed a productive start to the campaign, holding a stellar .320/.393/.700 slash line with two doubles and six long balls. Grisham has tallied 13 RBI and scored 12 runs. Even though he may occasionally sit against southpaws, he appears to have a significant role in the Yankee lineup, given his hot start. Fantasy managers should expect the 28-year-old to return to the starting nine on Friday to face Toronto right-hander Jose Berrios.

Trent Grisham Placed On Paternity List
Trent Grisham on the paternity list prior to Monday's series opener in Cleveland against the Guardians. Infield prospect Jorbit Vivas was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a corresponding move. Grisham will most likely miss the entire three-game series against the Guardians this week before most likely rejoining the team for Friday's series opener in the Bronx against the division-rival Toronto Blue Jays. After hitting under .200 each of the previous three seasons with the Yankees and San Diego Padres, Grisham has been playing well above expectations in the first 20 games of the 2025 season in New York, slashing .320/.393/.700 with a 1.093 OPS, six home runs and 13 RBI in 56 plate appearances as the team's fourth outfielder. The 28-year-old is already three homers shy of his total from 2024.

Trent Grisham Blasts Two Homers
Trent Grisham had his power bat working for him during Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Grisham took left-hander Bailey Falter deep in the third inning. He followed that up with a three-run shot off Falter in the fifth inning. Grisham has been on fire lately considering he's 6-for-11 at the plate across his last three games. During that span, Grisham has three homers and seven RBI, so fantasy managers should play him while he's hot at the plate.

Trent Grisham Homers In Win On Thursday
Trent Grisham had a big night in a 9-7 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday. Grisham went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer, and three RBI to help lead New York to the win. Grisham's homer was a two-run blast off Arizona starter Merrill Kelly in the third inning while his other RBI came on a double in the first inning. The veteran outfielder has been swinging a hot bat in limited playing time for the Yankees this season as he has five hits in 10 at-bats thus far. He will look to stay hot as the Yankees open up a weekend series against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
